How to renew or reserve materials
TO RENEW A BOOK:
There are several ways you could renew a book that is close to or past its due date.
Call: 660-388-5712 during our business hours.
In Person: Stop by during our business hours and we can help you at the main desk.
Online: If you have the Missouri Evergreen app, pull up your account, and click on "Items Checked Out". There is a "Renew" button that will allow you to renew the item and will display the new due date, along with how many more times you are allowed to renew that same item.
TO RESERVE A BOOK:
To reserve a book, you would simply search our catalog through our website or through the Missouri Evergreen app (click the "Search Library Catalog" link on this page, or use the "Missouri Evergreen" app). You can search by title, author, keyword, etc.
If requesting a book available at Dulany Library, leave the "Library" (for our website catalog) or "Search Within" (for the Missouri Evergreen app) as "Dulany Memorial Library". Once you find your desired item, click "Place Hold". You will be contacted via email or phone when it is available to pick up.
If your desired book is not available at Dulany, make sure the "Library" (for our website catalog) or "Search Within" (for Missouri Evergreen app) is set to "Missouri Evergreen", rather than "Dulany Memorial Library". Once you find your desired item, click "Place Hold". A participating library with the available item will then send the item to Dulany Library (this can sometimes take a few weeks). You will then be contacted via email or phone when it is available to pick up. You will have the standard checkout time for that item once you've picked it up, before returning it to Dulany, and we will return it to the lending library.
